Evan met Mary in 1955 in somerset where she then lived and while he was passing through working with a company laying gas pipes into Devon. They visited Goodrington as it was a favourite place of his - happy memories of his visits before war broke out.  Here they are snapped once again by the beach photographer, walking along South Sands with Addisons Restaurant as it then was, in the background.
